Calling all architecture and design lovers!
As you may know, we partner with a group called the Berkeley City Club Conservancy committed to preserving our beautiful building and promoting the legacy of Julia Morgan.
Beginning next week, on Thursday, September 22, they begin a four-part series, titled, Women Speak: Four Architects on Design and Urbanism.
The lineup of women are talented leaders in the profession of architecture.
Consider attending one or more of the talks in the comfort of the Club.
We invite you to peek at their Eventbrite page for more details or to purchase tickets.
Did you know that the Berkeley City Club partners with a non-profit organization called the Berkeley City Club Conservancy, who are dedicated to preserving our historic building and protecting the legacy of Julia Morgan, our talented architect?
Established in 1965, this group works tirelessly to help raise funds and ensure that our spaces are protected for many years to come.
In the coming months, keep posted for details on a lecture series they are doing to engage and inspire others on the topics of architecture, design and historic revitalization.
If you would like a further peek into our building, join us for a 4th Sunday of the month tour to delve into our history a bit more. At $10/person, your money goes to the preservation of our stunning landmark.
Tours run 45 minutes and take place at approximate intervals of 1:15pm, 2pm and 2:45pm.
