Courtyard beauty

If you find yourself at the Club looking for quiet moment, step away into one of our Courtyards.

Here is a peek into the West Courtyard.  It is located off of the Drawing Room and is also visible as you climb the staircase to the Second floor.  It is pretty magical.

We just love the flagstone and lush greenery.

Next up is the East Courtyard.  It is easily visible from the main hallway and probably one of the most visited.

Chairs and a quiet bench perfectly invite a moment to yourself.

East Court B

The last Courtyard is the North.  It is all the way at the end of the main hallway, just after you pass the Pool Locker Room. Tucked away, it is usually the most quiet.

We hope you enjoyed this little roundup.  Take a little time to explore them the next time you are at the Club.

A day of love

Summer is in full swing around the Club with beautiful weddings all around.

Award winning flowers

Do you happen to remember this lovely wedding that we posted about this past Winter?

Maybe you recall their megawatt smiles, a stunning setup and a picture perfect wedding day?

To top off the beauty of this day even more, the wearable flowers from their special day won an award from Florist Review magazine.  We loved revisiting the images from their special day once again to get up close with the beauty that the bride and her ladies adorned last September.

Join us to welcome Professor Margaretta Lovell, Professor of the History of Art, as a speaker in our Arts and Culture series.

How many times have we walked the UC Berkeley campus, usually without even thinking about the history of the buildings that surround us?

Here are a few great things Margaretta will be speaking about with all of us.

In what ways was the campus determined by the geography of Berkeley?

How many architects submitted plans for the UC campus?

What are the UC buildings that Julia Morgan designed?

What was the original plan for all of the floors of the Campanile?

Get the answers to all of these questions and many more at our Arts & Culture Talk on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 6pm.  Tickets available on Eventbrite.
